For winter break I didn’t do much except staying at home
playing video games, doing my homework, and going to the beach to build
sandcastles. While at home I would
usually read a book or do homework but for Christmas we bought a new cable
which was what we needed to finally get our Xbox to work and I think that I spent
a little too much time playing Minecraft and not doing my homework. I also had homework
over the break which wasn’t really hard and I got it done in a day but I needed
to practice playing the violin because I brought it home over the break and
needed lots of practice. But my favorite thing that I did was going to the
beach and building sandcastles. I might have gotten in the water but over the
break I was surprised at how cold the water was and didn’t get in. So I decided
to build a sandcastle with my sister. I also think that a “sandcastle” brings
to mind a small bucket shaped tower with a window poked in but the sandcastles
we built had a base about four by four one foot high with a castle on top that
was pretty cool. Whenever we left we would always see kids approaching it
because we weren’t there and start jumping on it and destroying it but when we
would come back there would be a small hill of sand where the castle was. But
after a week it kind of got boring and we stopped building sandcastles.
