Final Part: 1
1. Some things I liked about the class was the free time and life planning goals because free time is free time and the life planning goals helped me focus on what I wanted to do in life.
2. One thing I did not like about the class was that we did the same thing every day and even if practice makes perfect it gets boring after a while.
3. My recommendation for improving the class would be to do more things or to do different things so that it’s not the same all the time.
4. I feel that I could have done better in the class because even though I did most things there are areas where I could have definitely improved more like in typing and keeping my blog updated.
5.I started reading my life planning goals every day for two minutes but towards the end of the year I stopped reading them every day and started to do it only every other day.
6. I am committed to being a CTR person because being a CTR person will get you farther in life and it will always be for the better.

7. I will always remember to be a CTR person because of this class and will always remember choose the right.

Student Success Statement

If there is beauty in character,
There will be harmony in the home.
If there is harmony in the home,
There will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation,
There will be peace in the world.
Conclusion:
If there is beauty in character,
there will be peace in the world.
Chinese Proverb

This means that the simple things add up and contribute to the overall condition of the big thing. If the small unit of the home is peaceful then the next level will be peaceful and overall everything will be peaceful. I think that this is true and if everyone did the right thing the world would be better.

The Six Pillars of Character

The six pillars of character are
Trustworthiness
Respect
Responsibility
Fairness
Caring
and citizenship.

-Trustworthiness is by choosing the right and being able to be trusted because people know you don’t do bad things. You don’t steal or lie so people can trust you.

-Respect is when someone says that something is theirs and they don’t want anyone to touch it respect there decision and don’t touch it.

- Responsibility is being able to take care of a pet or doing all that is expected of you.

-Fairness is not treating others unequally. If someone does something unfair you have to be able to call them out and make a fair and unbiased decision.

-Caring is being able to be compassionate and help others if they need it and show gratitude when others help you.

-Citizenship is being a team player and doing what’s right and being a good part of your community to make it a better place.

Reflection: I think that if everyone followed the six pillars of character the world would be better and because you should be the change you want to see in the world I will always do what the six pillars of character say.

A.  What I liked about his class was that there weren't any tests so I didn't have to worry about them, I liked that we got free time if we finished early, the music, and that we got cards for the class.
B. We could learn how to use Excel because for the interdisciplinary project I had to make a graph and did lots of clicking before figuring out.
C. I feel like I did my best in the class and I know I didn't do everything perfectly but I feel like I did my best in the class.
D. I am reading my life planning goal notebook about every other day because I often forget to read it or don’t feel like reading it every day.
E. I am committed to being a CTR person because it’s the easiest way to get a better life. I don’t think I could hope for a better future if I’m not putting in effort and being a CTR person.

Always Do Right

Reflection: In the story Patrick has the choice of listening to his parents or listen to what he wanted and he chose to do what he wanted. They warned him to wear shoes or he could hurt his feet but he did not listen and got stung by a scorpion and he was in pain for over two hours. This story shows how choosing to do the right thing is not a roadblock or limitation but can actually be to protect us from getting hurt. If Patrick had listened to his parents and followed the rules he wouldn’t have gotten stung by the scorpion.

Kindness

Reflection: The videos of acts of kindness were very inspiring and showed lots of kindness and how being kind is not just extravagant gestures but can also be simple things. I think that my favorite act of kindness was the boy giving up his seat for the old lady. I like it the most because it was it was a simple act of kindness that really helped that lady and was simple to do.
