Student Success Story
“I would prefer even to fail with honor than by cheating.”
Sophocles

Reflection: I think this is true because winning fairly is more important than winning unfairly because then it might as well be a loss. An example is that instead of winning the race by cutting corners and saying you ran the whole thing it’s better to try and if you don’t win you got the experience and practice for next time.

Student Success Statement
“The true way to honor the past is to improve upon it.”
N. Eldon Tanner

Reflection: I think that this means that if you care about people in the past you should not repeat their mistakes.

Student Success Statement

“Act well your part; there all honor lies.”
Alexander Pope

Reflection: I think that honor lies in doing what you have to do. It means that you have to do just behave well in order be honorable. It doesn’t say on the highest  positions it says all parts meaning that everyone can be honorable.
