“Be cool in school--- live every rule”

                                                      Mr. Haymore
Reflection: I think that this is true because bring cool should not involve breaking the rules. I think that if you break the rules to look cool neither you or the people you are trying to impress are cool.

"Right is right even if everyone is against it wrong is wrong even if everyone is for it."

                                                       William Penn

A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches.

                                     Proverbs 22:1

"A good name is better than anything you can achieve in this life."

                                                                           Coach K

I think that the best way to get a good name is to be a CTR person.

Columbus Day

Christopher Columbus was born October 30, 1451 and died May 20, 1506. He was a Genoese explorer and navigator born in the Republic of Genoa which is now Italy. Funded by the Catholic Monarchs of Spain, he sailed across the Atlantic Ocean. His efforts to establish permanent settlements on the island of Hispaniola started the Spanish colonization of the Americas. On October 13, 1492 he landed in the Caribbean becoming the first European to do so. Since then people in the United States have been celebrating it and Columbus Day first became an official state holiday in Colorado in 1906, and became a federal holiday in the United States in 1937.

Reflection: I think that Christopher Columbus had a very lasting impact on the United States and other countries on the Americas. I think that Columbus also must have been a good sailor to get to a new continent on uncharted waters using the simple technology they had.

This week I've had to start writing one hundred goals that i want to complete for class. This will be a very interesting project because i am having trouble thinking of one hundred. "When obedience becomes our goal, it is no longer a irritation: instead of a stumbling block, it becomes a building block"
